Christening party?

If a christening is at 10am on a Sunday, what do you do for the party? Brunch? It's so early!

At a hotel / catered at home?

Probs about 40 people.

The christening might be for 10am, but by the time it's over, it will be at least 11am. So I'd say brunch. Whether you have it at home or at a hotel , really depends on the size of your house. Can you comfortably fit 40 people at home ? I'd make a list of the pros and cons, then make a sensible decision. Have fun !

Hmmm I can fit 40 people in standing, not enough seats though. What food would be good? The hotel menus I've seen are all more suited to afternoon / evening.

Coffee, tea and cake?

A buffet of things you can easily standing up? Sausage rolls, sandwiches, crisps, veg sticks and dips etc. And a cake of course!

DS2 Christening last year was at 10am. We had tea, coffee, cakes and bacon sarnies on offer after.
