Get on with stuff

Don’t complain

RestingButchFace · 13/02/2019 17:03

It means you get on with things without a fuss. That you are resilient and reliable

GoodFortuneAttendThee · 13/02/2019 17:32

Thank you. That's very helpful.

You're a good sort who gets on with stuff

(unless you're training to be a tank driver in which case they're calling your rank...but I think you'd know if that was the case)

GoodFortuneAttendThee · 13/02/2019 17:44

I'm admittedly slightly butch (though I don't want to be!) but def not a tank driver.. Grin

You get on with stuff without making a fuss.

Singlenotsingle · 13/02/2019 18:31

It's a compliment. It means you don't give up easily.

SomethingOnce · 13/02/2019 23:56

Trooper or trouper? Slightly different meanings.

AornisHades · 13/02/2019 23:59

I'd take it positively if you've been resolute and persistent.

EnidButton · 14/02/2019 04:38

Reliable, consistent, gets on with things no matter what the circumstances.

GoodFortuneAttendThee · 14/02/2019 07:40

SomethingOnce It was said verbally, so no way of me knowing. In context I asked someone if I had been doing ok at my job and they told me yes, and my supervisor had told them I was "a trooper".

They were being complimentary. They think you work hard and get on with it without any fuss.

GoodFortuneAttendThee · 14/02/2019 09:02

Thank you very much.
