We watched the greatest showman last night and loved it! I thought It wouldn't be my cup of tea but I honestly loved it from start to finish.

I still haven't watched pitch perfect/mamma Mia or any of the harry potters.

What hyped up films have you not watched yet?

Titanic
Mamma Mia
Greatest Showman

mimibunz · 13/02/2019 12:59

Schlinders List
Casablanca

PuppyMonkey · 13/02/2019 13:00

I’ve tried several times to stay awake through the entirety of Blade Runner but never yet managed it.

SemperIdem · 13/02/2019 13:01

Cloud Atlas.

The book was unreadable, self important dross so I have never felt inclined to watch the screen adaptation.

IndigoSpritz · 13/02/2019 13:02

All of them. I haven't been to the cinema since 1995 and I rarely watch films at home.

MrsJayy · 13/02/2019 13:04

Star is born. I really don't fancy it looks like its up its own arse !

toomuchtoolittle · 13/02/2019 13:05

@MrsJayy same. I know that that wouldn't be my cup of tea for sure.

All the Ads ive seen it looks irritatingly angsty I think it would annoy me

Longdistance · 13/02/2019 13:17

Weirdly I hadn’t seen the Greatest Showman until a few weeks ago thinking the same as you op. Bloody love it now. I also have the soundtracks downloaded Blush

Never seen the Italian job, Rocky, Schindler’s list. I could go on, but I really can’t find the time to actually sit down and watch a film and relax tbh.

SemperIdem · 13/02/2019 13:17

I don’t fancy A Star is Born either, the combo of very worthy Bradley Cooper and Lady ‘I’m a serious actor now, don’t you know’ Gaga sets my teeth on edge.

Oh god yes I saw Bradley weep on a talkshow clip when Gaga said he was wonderful i thought calm down Brad

toomuchtoolittle · 13/02/2019 13:24

I actually like Bradley cooper and I've heard gaga is great in it, but I just can't bring myself to watch it. I don't like the soundtrack either so that's put me off 🙈

Star Wars
Most of the Marvel type films
Frozen
Scarface
Schindlers List
Alien
Fast & Furious

Ellabella989 · 13/02/2019 13:26

A star is born was ok - the ending was horribly sad and I never cry at films but I sobbed my heart out at it. It was slow paced in parts and Bradley mumbled throughout so I was struggling to follow the plot at times

TheWashingMachine · 13/02/2019 13:28

Star wars

Flairhead · 13/02/2019 13:29

Loads of films I haven't seen! I'm frequently ridiculed for this by my friends.....
I tend to just watch stuff I've already seen and like, really must make more of an effort!

Ellabella989 · 13/02/2019 13:31

Oh and I’ve never watched Dirty Dancing

SadieContrary · 13/02/2019 13:31

The Green Mile.

Someone told me I'd cry, so I've never watched it!

Ellabella989 · 13/02/2019 13:32

The Green Mile is fantastic but it does have its weepy moments

golddustwomen · 13/02/2019 13:32

Star Wars, avengers, Indianna Jones. Not for me!!

toomuchtoolittle · 13/02/2019 13:34

@Flairhead are you my best friend? She never watches anything i recommend and tends to re watch the same films and series over and over again 🙄

@Ellabella989 😱 you haven't watched dirty dancing? What! How? It's a classic!

SadieContrary · 13/02/2019 13:35

EllaBella989 I know I'm missing out but still can't bring myself to sit down and watch it as I'm a soft hearted sod so I know I'll bawl!

SquigglySquaw · 13/02/2019 13:36

The Godfather trilogy
Frozen
Pulp Fiction
Moana
Hunger Games - started it but couldn't hack it

toomuchtoolittle · 13/02/2019 13:36

@SadieContrary the green mile is brilliant but so sad. I cry every time and I've watched it about 20 times.
