Can't contact the entertainer for my DD birthday party

Hi everyone, apogies for the long post I'm trying not to drip feed info.
My dd went to a party and loved the entertainment so we got the details and about 3 weeks ago got in touch with them booked her party in (no deposit paid, she didn't take one for dd friends party either) we agreed that I'd be in contact closer to the date to confirm numbers for equipment etc I've emailed her 4 times and no response, I've now got her phone number and text (no response yet) , I will call tomorrow as I think it's too late to call now.
What I'm looking for is ideas for a party for 20 6-7 yo boys and girls that I can do myself incase the entertainment falls through for a 2h hour party (30 min will be for food). We have a church hall with small kitchen (cooker here too), I'm not sure if they'd allow a bouncy castle type things but it is a big hall.

Pass the parcel, musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, decorate glass jars and fill with sweets (also can then be a replacement for party bags).

How did you get in touch with them 3 weeks ago? Was it email or a phone call? Maybe your emails are going to her spam box. How did your friend find this entertainer when she booked her?

I do think it's unprofessional on them not to respond if they are receiving your messages. I'd be feeling nervous too.

You could do loads of races, eg relay races- might need something to pass between them (a small football/ ball) eg over and under. As a child we played pennies in the knees, where we had to put a penny between our knees and deliver it to a bucket, most pennies wins. You could play the chocolate game, where you have a dice a large bar of chocolate, knife and fork and a scary hat and gloves, you take it in turns to roll the dice, if you throw a six, you out on the gloves, hat and scarf and can try to cut yourself a piece if chocolate, the dice continues to be thrown as you do this and as soon as the next person throws a six, they start putting on the hat etc...
You could have individual or team challenges eg building a tall tower with jelly babies and cocktail sticks, or making catapults?

Hire super hero costumes for a couple of your friends.
Have them organise +join in party games. Take a personal photo for each dc at the end.
Have them printed off and sent into school /however.
My ds went to similar and all the dc loved it!!
