Child being screamed at in Superdry

Earlier today I witnessed a child being shouted at in a really unpleasant way in the changing room of a shop. The boy was preschool age, the grown up (assuming it was the mother) called him a f*king spatic like his f*king sptic father and this continued until they left the shop with the dad who was also shouting his head off. It was shocking and I felt awful for the child (and woman come to that, clearly she was in a bad place). I thought about it afterwards and wondered if I should have done something rather than just mind my own business...?

Disgusting behaviour from her. There are often all sorts of excuses made for parents on threads like these but that's just foul. Poor little kid

It's a horrible position to be in OP, I've been there myself. I think the question to ask yourself is whether there's anything you could say or do to make the situation better. Sometimes there isn't, and anything you say will be met with a mouthful of abuse or worse. Its a horrible feeling though

OP - I felt the same last Saturday, there was a mother shouting right in the face of her DD who was about 7 years old in Primark. The mother was holding two tops up and was just shouting "why can't you just make up your *** mind, what top do you want?". It was just horrible, the father/partner was standing there by her with a baby in a buggy. The little girl was visibly upset with tears in her eyes.....
