Apologies, this probably isn't the right place to post but I don't know where is!
I've signed up to do the half moonwalk this year (a moment of pure madness
)
I need to start training now, I probably should've started about 10 years ago, but too late now!
Anyway I have no idea what kind of shoe/trainer to get, gym shoe? Running shoe? Am I right in thinking a running shoe woukd be best? I won't be running but hoping to manage a decent speed walk, before I finish on my hands and knees 
Anyone got any advice (apart from don't do it)
