It’s so disappointing when you go out for a meal and the food isn’t nice or in some cases horrible...
Went for a quick impromptu lunch with dd in our local area on Sunday. It was a place we had often walked past but not tried. I think it’s a small chain serving “pan Asian” food. First bad sign was that the food came out really quickly. We had some dumplings that were edible but not great and it was really clear they had come out of the freezer straight into the microwave. Then we had some noodles that were really vile - we could not eat them. They tasted like they had also just been defrosted and were also incredibly salty. One other dish was just edible. I would have sent the noodle dish back but I knew it would upset dd so didn’t. We had a soft drink each and with the service charge it was £42!!! I felt so annoyed.
