DS2 had a week of that a couple of weeks ago, he's hardly ever ill.

DS had this last week. Also didn't want to game. Or eat Jaffa cakes. He was much better by Saturday.

My DD had this, child in her class was tested in hospital (underlying health condition) and they confirmed influenza A. DD was feverish 4 days and still has little appetite a week later.

Blanket, paracetamol and trash tv. Works for mine!

I'm not surprised really as we haven't had a really cold snap to kill the bugs (not sure how or if the science backs that statement up).
It seems a nasty one though... hes currently trying to sleep but coughing away every now and then. Managed to pursuade him to have 1 spoon of calpol 6+ (that's all we have in the house).. i would rather he had the max dose but he's refusing and doesn't want a fuss
