We had a roast tonight - I've worked the past three Sunday's & was missing them.

Just downloaded an app that my friend recommended called Tasty. It's been brilliant with getting me out of my 5 meal repetition!! (Ps I don't work for them or anything 😁)

steppemum · 11/02/2019 22:32

Oh you lot are amazing, thank you, thank you

I have a busy week, so I am SO not in the mood for cooking anything except basics, but I don't do ready meals, so hoist by my own petard as they say.

I love seeing what other people cook, as some things I have never heard of.

So I have a menu for this week at least, and now I am off to google Gyros, chicken parmigiana, and marmalade sausages .....

(I was going to google califlour cheese, until I realised it was a typo!)

life would be so much easier if I was cooking for 5 people who liked the same things as me.
organising meals round everyones preferences, is a pain,
one who needs proper meat in every meal, and one who can live without meat at all (except sausages)
one who doesn;t like rice (and I used to live in asia, and hate peeling potatoes, so I woudl eat rice 4-5 times a week) and one who would like to live on just pasta
One who doesn't do any spices even mild and 2 of us who love spicy food.
I would eat veggie 2-3 times a week to the horror of 2 of the family

and so it goes on. They have to eat what the meal is, but I try and balance it so they don't get 2 days running with food they aren't keen on.
