I’m used to having severely painful periods , D&V, blacking out etc . Normally fairly regular although have a diagnosis of PCOS as hormones are a bit wonky . Usually periods are v v heavy and need tranexamic acid , tena ladies etc .
I was due a period two days ago .. I’ve had some discharge that’s a little bit blood stained, but nothing else at all apart from very severe pain and nausea . Only bleeding when I go to the loo , but I don’t think it’s a UTI .
I have been diagnosed with flu and have had a bit of a breakdown but have had mental health problems a long time and still had regular periods ... so I’m a bit baffled !
Not on any hormonal treatments and no chance of pregnancy at all .
Is it normal to have the odd strange period ? Very uncomfortable - I’m having to use cocodamol , busicpan , ibuprofen , anti emetics and diazepam ...
