Is this the question that caused all the hilarity in the gcse paper a few years back? Don't know the answer but it set twitter on fire...

What year and exam board is the paper. Google it and the answers will be online

I'd say it is most similar to the one with the greatest number of lines in the same places, and most likely to interbreed successfully with that one.

She needs to check which one of the other species has the most lines in common with it.

WilsonandNoodles · 10/02/2019 21:21

Its the middle one. It has the most simular DNA trace and therefore most likely to have genes compatible for breeding.

Brownbootscoldheart · 10/02/2019 21:24

Amazing, thanks all, I did think that may have been the answer but googling said something about species with the same genus not being able to successfully reproduce so that confused things. It’s been far too long since I did biology!

Agree middle one as it has the most similar genetic codes
