How to get comfortable without putting any weight on tailbone?

Hi, I fell last Wednesday and knocked myself out, I also hurt my tailbone when I landed. I've been to a&e and no new damage to it (I had already chipped a piece off it in the past) according to x-ray,

Anyone got any tips on how to get comfy now as I cant get settled at all. I am in bed as legs aren't working properly but can't get a good position even with cushions under it, I've been lying on my side as well but then pain rises too high.

Thanks in advance

Ouch.

I assume you have the coccyx protector cushions? If not they are available cheaply from amazon.

I've had a sore tailbone for weeks now but not as a result of an accident, poor you that sounds sore. I find sitting leaning forward in a chair is good or lying on back with knees up if being on your side isn't working for you.

@zod1ac19 I tempted fate as I got rid of my last of the cushions less than a month ago. Damn

Because of the problem with my legs and not being able to use them, tailbone is worse when sitting as I am sitting like a deadweight with all the pressure on that area and on the glutes which are already in spasm. The problem with legs is an ongoing one and comes from one of my previous conditions but its just annoying me at the minute, sitting is the most painful

I can't keep knees up as legs are just flopping outward, kinda like a smear test lol Using the Trendelenburg position at the minute but only so long I can stay like that.
