Unfriending on Facebook

Is there a kind way to do it?

Big upset a few years ago, were so close, (30 ys friends) never removed from facebook but it is clear we have unfollowed from eachother. They both upset me from continually being unsupportive through many issues for me.

I see so many gatherings of them with people who I thought liked me, who I thought were friends but were in this wider social circle with these two friends, none of whom have contacted me since we were no longer friends.

I've just seen photos of a meet-up of a group I was a part of but now not

It is time to move on. Should I say something or just do it?

Just do it

Ribbonsonabox · 10/02/2019 00:59

Dont say anything because you will risk looking nuts.
Just unfriend and block and move on with your life.

I know you are all right, I just struggle being the instigator.

Do it. They won’t know until they check and if you think they’ve unfollowed you anyway they probably will think they unfriended you.

Sorry you’re hurting.

Op please don’t forget the block or for you and them they may get the fb notification about people they may know suggestions to add as friends. If you block them too that notification doesn’t happen.

Do people really care about this, they aren’t your friends so remove them as “friends” neither party will care. Don’t lose sleep over someone you hardly know anymore

Good tip, thank you @AdoreTheBeach
