What's the weather like in the Algarve in early October?

Just that really. Wanting to book a cheap week for me and DH in early October. Last year we went to Crete and it was pushing 30 degrees most days. I'm not a huge heat fan, so 25 ish would suit me.

I went during October half term (late October) a couple of years ago, to Porches, and it was around 23-25 most days. A couple of cloudy half days but lovely weather. Pools were freezing but the sea was nice. The waves were huge! It’s the only time I’ve been, so not sure if that weather is standard.

We’ve been mid to late Sept the last few years so only a couple of weeks before you’re planning. In the Algarve, always been between 25-30, lovely but not too hot. HTH x

I go in Jan/Feb, some years 20deg +, this year a bit windy so 17 - 19 during the day, sun warm enough to sunbathe in sheltered spots. I imagine it should be warmer in April. I don’t like the heat so the winter months suit me.

Sorry should be warmer in October! Was in Lisbon in October and in the high 20s there.

We went at the end of September '18 and it was really hot.
It had been over 30 in the days before we got there and stayed in the high twenties for the week.
It was actually a bit hot for me. I was hoping for maybe 25 or 26.

Was there in early October 2017 and it was glorious - 25-28 every day. It does get chilly once the sun goes down so take a cardigan if you’re going out in the evening!

I've been late September early October, it's been gorgeous weather, some years it's been mid to high 20s
