Calling all Kia Sportage owners

I'm thinking about buying this.

I love my big 4x4 but living on the border of London and the ULEZ coming in 2021 I need to sell my car before it depreciates even more.

So I've been checking out this 2011 2.0 Petrol

Does anyone have one of these? Your reviews would be great Smile

Also the colour, yay or nay??

We have a 2018 Sportage, I think 1.6 petrol. Recently upgraded from a 12yo Peugeot 207 so a little bit of a difference. I absolutely love everything about it! I work as a nanny and it's great to finally be able to get all 3 children in the back. Drove up to Scotland and back over Xmas, so much more enjoyable of a journey than in the 207. I like the colour!

I'm on my second Kia Sportage (diesel) love them, lots of extras for the money (parking sensors heated seats etc) and find it very comfortable to drive

Love the Kia Sportage and great colour. I will admit that I don’t have one but I do have a Qashqai and they are also fab and worth a look 😀

Justanotheruser01 · 09/02/2019 14:51

Not the question you've asked but i have a kia stonic 2018 and I'm really enjoying the reliability of a kia. Never heard bad things about a sportage I nearly got one but the one I could afford didn't have a feature I wanted.

Norma27 · 09/02/2019 15:20

I don’t have one but quite a few of my friends have them and seem to love them. If I could afford to I would buy one myself.

I have the automatic orange sportage, so nice to drive and doesn't feel too big. We call him Donald and love him!

BayandBlonde · 09/02/2019 15:35

Thank you for the replies.

I joined the Kia Owners Forum to search for common faults and to be fair it has good reviews there too.

I have always found myself with Land Rovers and they all break, all of the time Angry

I love the look of this Kia and it has the features I need

We had one of those for a few years and the earlier model before that. Super car and very reliable. We recently sold and replaced with the new Peugeot 3008 which I like more as it's got loads of in-car gadgets! You can't go wrong with a Kia Sportage though imo.

Sorry, really not keen on that colour though

BayandBlonde · 09/02/2019 18:35

@Viebienremplie

I like the colour and I don't. It's annoying because this particular car has all the gadgets and extras

My concern is, it's an off putting colour when I come to sell in the future.

I love my sportage, it's lovely and spacious.

I bought a silver Sportage 2016 1.6 in Nov and I love mine, I upgraded from a Peugeot 207 too as needed something bigger as have a 1 year old and another due soon,I just wish I had got a model with parking sensors as I have to parallel park all the time and struggle to judge the size after years in a small car. I don't mind that colour but I wouldn't choose it
