My boys hair seems to grow really fast. Just wondering how often everyone takes their DS for a haircut?

2-3 weeks

it used to be 4 times a year, at the start of the summer holidays and then before each term. When they were older it was up to them to ask.

Whenever he can be arsed!

He's 13 now, so he goes on his own after school. Before Christmas he went over 6 months because he wanted to grow it. Day before he went back to school, he said he'd had enough of growing it, so went to the barber's the next day.
I just leave him to it now haha!

All 3 of mine have theirs done every 8 weeks. Two of them probably need it at 5-6 weeks, but one of them needs it less frequently so it's a compromise! We have someone come to our house to do it, due to disabilities.

Every 3 weeks but luckily I'm a qualified barber so do it myself

Every 2-3 weeks. My ds has my thick wavy hair so we need to keep it fairly short or it becomes unmanageable.

Spidz · 09/02/2019 12:57

Every half term.

Elfinablender · 09/02/2019 12:58

Yeah, every half term here too.

calpop · 09/02/2019 12:59

used to once a term but once a half term now

Thesearmsofmine · 09/02/2019 13:00

My ds with short hair every 6 weeks, my ds with longer hair every 12 weeks,

onemouseplace · 09/02/2019 13:01

Every school holiday, and once at the beginning of summer holidays and once at the end. He has very thick, fast growing hair and a double crown.

dementedpixie · 09/02/2019 13:25

Hardly ever as ds has floppy hair. He doesn't like getting it cut as they never do what he asks. I took him to my hairdresser last week and he was actually happy with it for once. His hair is still collar length and he has a long fringe

Whyareweallhere · 09/02/2019 15:26

It differs quite a bit.

When did you all start getting your DS’s hair cut?
My son is 2.5 and has never had a hair cut. He has beautiful, shoulder length curls, and is happy to have it tied out of the way when he’s playing, but flips out at the mention of getting it “cut like daddy’s”. I’m not overly bothered about it - if he’s happy, I’m happy to get it cut when he asks for it to be cut, but certain family members seem to have a huge issue with a boy having long hair Hmm

Every 2 weeks.
