I think you mean Dawlish? That's the main line from Exeter to Newton Abbot heading to paignton or Plymouth.

Dartmouth steam railway goes from paignton to Kingswear for Dartmouth?

DiscoMoo · 09/02/2019 14:30

The line between St Erth and St Ives?

PhannyMcNee · 09/02/2019 14:31

The last bit of the mainline into Penzance is by the sea too

FaultInMyStars · 09/02/2019 14:34

The main line between Exeter and Penzance runs right alongside the sea. It's very beautiful (but you need to make sure you're on the correct side of the train carriage!). Another lovely one is the train along the Dyfi estuary in mid Wales... between Machynlleth, Dovey Junction, and then on to Borth and into Aberystwyth.

There's a lovely journey down from Liskeard to Looe, by a stream / river / estuary

Thankyou
