Selling on a gift

Almost 10 years ago a neighbour gave me a large piece of play equipment that her dc had grown out of. She didn't want it back and wouldn't take anything for it. My dc have now finished with it but it is still in pretty good condition.

I've looked on eBay and they appear to be selling (in the same condition) for about £40. I don't know anyone with dc who might benefit from it. I'm not sure whether to a) put it on Freecycle, b) auction it and give her whatever it makes or c) auction it and give the money to our local community project.

Wwyd?

Maybe ask her if there is anyone else that she would like to pass it on to?

I'd talk to her, see if she wants you to pass it on to someone else that she knows. If the answer is no, talk to her about selling it and give her the money.
You've had 10 years of free use after all.

Thank you - I'll speak to her.
