What is your weekend plans? For us half term starts after today 😁

Saturday, tip runs and food shopping

Sunday, dc are going to the grandparents for 4 days. I plan to catch up on housework/diy and any other jobs I've been putting off 🙈 drink lots of wine and eat shit loads of crap food, go to bed when I want and have long lie ins 👍🏼 ahhh..

Half term already? Lucky! We have another two weeks.

Tomorrow we have friends coming round with my birthday presents in the morning; then DS is going to the cinema for a school friend's birthday. Sunday we have a sports competition, which translates to a morning of 'I don't want to go! I'll lose anyway!', an afternoon sitting around cheering him on and helping with kit, and then hopefully a mass exodus to a nice pub for food with the club afterwards.

I know! Doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago it was Christmas 🙈

I'm working nights and DD has got another cough, the kind of cough that wakes her up in the night and very early in the morning. So, tomorrow consists of hanging round in an exhausted haze with a tired DD, trying to get older DD to do her homework etc, hopefully fitting in a nap for a hour or 2, rushing through dinner and getting DDs ready for bed, going to work. Sunday will be finishing work late, coming home, getting DDs ready for the day, waiting for DH to get out the bathroom so I can get ready for bed, sleeping for not long enough, doing spellings with DD, cooking dinner, making packed lunches, getting DDs' stuff ready for school/ nursery, going to work.

Having a quiet weekend as we've been busy the past few.

Saturday will be taking DS to the library for some new books. Then to his swimming lesson.

Sunday we will visit relatives, watch crap on telly and I'll probably cook a roast.

Sunday - gymnastics for dd1 and probably do homework etc .

hmwhatsmynameagain · 08/02/2019 15:46

My weekend had started already as I have taken today off work.
Spending today & tomorrow cleaning out DS's room as he leaves on Sunday morning to go to Australia for 12 months.
Sunday will be spent drinking gin and reminding myself it is good he is spreading his wings and getting life experience whilst he is young and free

Crunchymum · 08/02/2019 15:55

Party tomorrow, ice-skating and then Pizza Express. Will do some chores before we go but may well have a glass of wine with my pizza.

Sunday we'll have a blitz then off to in-laws for Sunday roast. We probably won't get home until bath, book and bed time so for me it's a nice, easy weekend. No real cooking and I'm out the house for most of Saturday and Sunday so no getting waylaid with chores Grin

MrsPear · 08/02/2019 16:18
