Travelling on British and EU passports

Myself and my children are entitled to Irish passports and I have applications under way. We also have British passports.

We will be traveling to Portugal this summer. Is it possible to use both passports to get in the quickest queues or do we have to use the same passport on both legs?

Use whichever passport is most convenient for you to enter the country. You'll have to use whichever passport you put down when you booked the flights for check in though.
