Totally boring but I've just smashed my iphonex case and it's cost me £150 to replace 🤮 had a loopy case, love the loop but I'm not getting the right protection.

There's a sully amount to choose from. Need something bulletproof

I was going to recommend a loopy case! Grin. I've always had one and loved them. Only haven't got one this year yet as the designs are horrid. Oh well...

CrystalTits · 07/02/2019 21:51

Tech21. Bulletproof.
Can seem pricey but I’ve always had them and they’ve kept my phones immaculate and protected. First bought when the Apple Store staff told me they’d recently spent a training session trying to break products protected with tech 21 cases by throwing them as hard as possible into the floor across the store!

Otter box-the ones with silicone glove and then hard case on top

deadsexy · 07/02/2019 21:57

Thanks. Can I ask which tech 21 you have?

Otterbox Strada here, replaced a Tech21 case, much prefer the leather. I am super clumsy so need decent shock protection!

Chimchar · 07/02/2019 22:18

I've had loads of cases over the years. I buy them really cheaply on eBay.

I make sure they're rubbery or softish rather than hard plastic. I also make sure that the case covers totally around to the front of the phone with no gaps on corners or edges iykwim.

Glass screen protector on the front and despite being dropped over and over, I've not broken one yet!

MyDcAreMarvel · 07/02/2019 22:19

Otter box resurgence with a techgear alpha glass screen. Bonus it charges your phone on the go.

Largepiecesofcrookedwood · 07/02/2019 22:21

We've had Otterbox cases for years and never smashed a phone, despite being owned variously by a tradesman, a teenager and me.
They're not the prettiest I'll admit, but needs must Wink

BikeRunSki · 07/02/2019 22:21

Otter box

We have them for our work phones too.

MyDcAreMarvel · 07/02/2019 22:22

Best price for otterbox amazon or eBay ( new)

unicornsrule · 07/02/2019 22:30

Tirita cases here

SarahBeeney · 08/02/2019 00:06

I only use battery cases,Apple ones. They don't do them for every model though unfortunately and are pricey.

MyDcAreMarvel · 08/02/2019 00:15

Otterbox Battery cases for iPhones are approx £30 more protective than Apple

WarpedGalaxy · 08/02/2019 01:43

I just use the leather case from Apple, it gives enough grip so it doesn’t slip out if my hand and offers protection enough for my needs. I think I’ve accidentally knocked it off my desk a couple of times and one or other of the cats has knocked it off the counter while it’s been charging, but nothing, not a mark on it and we have hard floors.DH has an otterbox but has never dropped his phone as far as I know.

Boxlikeahare · 08/02/2019 04:35

I use the same as warped, the apple leather case. I have broken one screen in ten years and my phones are always in good condition ... apple gave me £200 trade in for my old phone recently. Five years old, fab condition.

deadsexy · 08/02/2019 08:11

Otterbox are getting a good response.

I'm just struggling to let go of my loopy. I it all the time 😬 might look at a good screen protector....

Otterbox

HicDraconis · 08/02/2019 08:30

Bookbook case from 12south. I have one for my MacBook and one for my iPhone and they’re awesome.

Here

spiderlight · 08/02/2019 09:12

Otterbox here as well, although when DS gets a new phone for his birthday he wants a Mous Limitless case for it.
