If a person said they had hit a bit of a wall and then went on sick leave?

That they couldn't go on any longer as things are.

That they had some mental health struggles arm

Stress, mh problems?

I'd think it was some kind of mental exhaustion/anxiety/depression type of thing.

Stress leave

that they couldn't cope

I took it to mean more depression.
