Oven too hot?
Are you making the batter thick?

Ratatouille76 · 07/02/2019 12:16

I'm making it right now! I cook it for 30 mins at 200.

I made this the other day, and it was brilliant.

Cook large frozen Yorkshire Puddings & add the cooked sausages. That’s my foolproof toad.

This is my favourite:
225g plain flour
1 tsp salt
4 eggs LIGHTLY beaten
300 ml milk
Pepper

Sift flour, salt, pepper into bowl and add all beaten eggs and half the milk. Whisk until smooth then add rest of milk and whisk again. Rest for 10 mins in the fridge.

Put dripping into dish into oven at highest possible temperature. I very lightly brown the sausages in a frying pan. Lower temperature to 230, add batter and sausages and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked.
