Driving myself mad from boredom...

lifestooshortandsoami · 06/02/2019 17:19

Fell last week and have badly sprained my ankle.... damaged the ligaments and still can't put foot down/ move foot properly.

Am off work due to the pain and not being able to weight bear (bare? Sp?) and I am so bored! Feeling very fed up and need a kick up the arse to tell me to sort my head out!!

Any recommendations what I can do to stop myself going crazy/ being a grumpy arse?!

We enjoyed Hill House and You and are working our way through Black Mirror. Also recently discovered Two Doors Down (iplayer).

Thank you! Some really good ideas!
Have had to avoid the online shopping as already bought stuff I wanted but didn't need oops.
Bop it is an excellent idea Smile

Haunting of Hill house we enjoyed too. The Ted Bundy Tapes are meant to be good, I want to watch them. Power is very good, myself and DP enjoyed them! Call the Midwife is a fave of mine. If you liked Gilmore Girls that's up there too, I loved re-watching it because I missed so many of them back before Sky boxes were able to record shows. lol

It isn't scary, a little bit jumpy but the story is good. Took me a long time to realise this, so I am going to tell you (it's not a spoiler) each episode is seen from a different persons perspective. I was confused at first as to why we were seeing some of the same parts over and over again!

I haven't tried black mirror yet, I must look it up!

lifestooshortandsoami · 07/02/2019 18:01

Oo I'll give it a try then.
Black mirror was just really odd, sort of got where they were coming from but by the end of the 2nd episode I couldn't get into it enough to keep watching.

What about a Hitchcock film? Rear Window? Grin

Look up some Pilates / yoga things that you can do that don’t involve legs / weight on legs , there are loads on the App Store . Take up knitting / crochet or something in that ilk .

lifestooshortandsoami · 07/02/2019 22:33

@HelmutFrontbut I don't think I'd cope ha

@floral thank you! Good idea re the yoga type exercises... I've been on a diet and doing home workouts... had lost over a stone and this has happened so will be good to try and do something
