I had thought of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but the One Aldwych is closed.

What is the science one in the Ampersand like?

Don’t know but mad hatter at the Sanderson is supposed to be great. Sketch is fabulous. Both ££ though.

They do a reasonably priced afternoon tea at Aqua Shard, think the tea is fairly standard but you get the view.

There’s a London bus afternoon tea which he would probably love....

And there’s a river boat one too.

It’s expensive, but The Potion Room is amazing. cutterandsquidge.com/pages/afternoon-tea-london it’s for ages 8+!
The Bateaux London Afternoon Tea Cruise lasts just under 2 hours and there’s a discounted rate for children aged 5-12.
At half the price of the full traditional afternoon tea, Egerton House Hotel has a 'Little Prince and Princess Tea' for children under 12. They still receive a three-tiered cake stand with finger sandwiches, scones, and mini cakes plus hot chocolate (instead of tea). The Red Carnation hotel, also has a 'Little Prince and Princess Tea', but this time there are peanut butter and jam sandwiches, as well as scones, cupcakes, and a milkshake or hot chocolate.
