Has anyone done it or doing it? Would you recommend it? Have you managed to secure a job after qualifying?

Currently a teacher less than 5 years in... regretting my choice between the two careers when i was at college.

I'm interested in replies as I'm thinking of doing this too. I'm also a teacher - been teaching a bit longer than you OP- 12 years. I'm looking for a new challenge.

I'm thinking of applying, although am happy in my current job at the moment so not in a rush to move on, but it is what I want to do longer term!

ASauvignonADay · 19/02/2019 16:41

@Cookiedough123 how much experience did you have when you applied before?

SheldonSaysSo · 19/02/2019 16:46

Place marking as I'm very interested in this. However, I have heard that its very competitive so it would be interesting to know what helps to make the grade.

ASauvignonADay · 21/02/2019 22:16

Yeah it does seem competitive. Hoping someone who has applied/got on before might be able to advise?

SheffBrook · 08/05/2019 13:32

I applied. Bit the bullet after teaching & working in Further Education for 12 years. Anyone got through to assessment centre? Not sure what to expect.
