Urgent question re sandwiches

Bought ready-made platter of sandwiches yesterday. The label on them says to eat within 4 hours. Would they be OK to eat today?? I cant see why not. They were only out of th fridge for2 hours yesterday.

It’s fine. The label is probably because they’ll go a bit soggy after 4 hours and they don’t want endless complaints about wet sandwiches.

You do worry too much. They want you to throw the food away because then you'll buy more food. Bought sandwiches are fine for 3 days at least.

We had buffet food at work last week and there was loads of leftovers that people took home. I had some sandwiches on day 3 and they were fine. I did pick the slightly soggy salad out, but otherwise good and certainly not off.
