I'm debating becoming a member for other reasons but wondering about this too. I tried it a few years back but the catalogue wasn't things I watched/enjoyed

But there are some shows I'd love to see/watch again that I THINK may be part of the package (which unfortunately seems like a state secret unless you're a member) so I am hoping mners can help?

Scandal
Bones
Person of interest (I watched & loved on Netflix but the final season was never available)
Criminal minds
Perception
Fringe - again came off Netflix before I could watch last couple seasons
The good wife - as person of interest
Revenge - I missed the final season of that too
The Americans - was watching on terrestrial initially then I think sky bought it?
Lie to me
Rizzoli & Isles
Waking the dead - been watching a few via tvplay but they're not all on there.
Taggart (as above. I suspect wishful thinking in this case though)

I'd also love to be able to watch the old inspector Wexford mysteries and pd James adaptations too.

There's a website called Justwatch where you can check what services a show is available on.

MyDcAreMarvel · 06/02/2019 01:49

That’s all on prime

MyDcAreMarvel · 06/02/2019 01:50

Rest of the shows are not.

PerspicaciaTick · 06/02/2019 01:54

Perception is just starting on 5USA on Freeview, I think this Friday may be the first in the series so it will probably on the channel5 on demand service soon.

Graphista · 06/02/2019 02:38

Thanks all.

@AssassinatedBeauty I'll check that out cheers.

Generally I've found if I've googled the results SAY X y z is on X service but the info is out of date which is annoying

Right according to justwatch the following are also on prime but are they included in the package?

Greys anatomy
Outlander
Agents of shield
The good fight
Buffy & Angel
Charmed

Also are the ones you guys are saying "yes" to are they free to watch for prime members is what I should have clearly asked.

And given what you now know of what I like any recommendations?

Unfortunately (no idea why) I can't get 5usa but I can sometimes watch 5usa stuff on the catch up app.

Lucifer is on Prime, and American God's. Both excellent.

VeniVidiViciTwice · 06/02/2019 09:40

Person of interest you have to pay extra for.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 06/02/2019 10:24

Lucifer is excellent :)

MyDcAreMarvel · 06/02/2019 11:07

Yes I only told you the free shows I thought that’s what you meant.

Graphista · 06/02/2019 18:32

Thanks for info on person of interest that's disappointing I'd just like to see how it ends having invested in watching all the other series

Mydcaremarvel thank you yes that's what I was trying to find out

Do not miss Lucifer starring Tom Ellis. Three episodes on Prime, Fox decided not to make a fourth but Netflix have picked it up and making fourth episode some time this year.

I am watching White Collar at the moment which I'm enjoying. Lie to Me is also brilliant with Tim Roth. I binge watched Grey's Anatomy because someone told me it was being removed but it's still there, grrr. The Good Life is definitely worth a watch, as are Bones and Criminal Minds.

Graphista · 06/02/2019 19:20

I'm torn on lucifer, I think I'd like it but I'm not keen on the actor. Partly as I don't find him a good actor and partly cos he's a cheat! But it's getting so you can't watch anything if you don't watch stuff because of what those making the productions in real life - it's bloody depressing!

I've watched white collar umpteen times glad you're enjoying.

Lie to me is bloody brilliant! Pisses me off the makers cancelled it BUT they refused to sell it to anyone else to continue!

I saw first few seasons of greys anatomy on terrestrial tv until it got nicked I think by Sky (really annoys me when this happens). So I think u would like to watch it. Again Katherine heigl is apparently a nightmare to work with but as an actress I like her and I regularly watch her films on Netflix. Dd and I love "life as we know it"

Did you mean the good wife? Again saw all but final season and then it was whipped off Netflix! I'd started watching on terrestrial telly but for various reasons couldn't keep up, then I caught up (almost) via Netflix.

Bones I saw via another streaming site (can't remember the name now it was when it was still quite a new thing) and loved it, again never got to see the final season.

Criminal minds I love the early seasons, kinda felt it wasn't as good as it went on. I have a Facebook friend who is a big fan and she's sad it's been cancelled so I've seen her posts on that.

I hope you give Lucifer a try - all the cast are brilliant and it's an original concept. How often does the Devil get bored of Hell, move to Los Angeles and open a nightclub? Grin

Graphista · 06/02/2019 20:59

Haha I think many would say an la nightclub IS hell!

I remember watching I think it was an episode of Angel? Where they were travelling in a lift supposedly to get to hell? Then when the lift doors opened they were back in "the real world" Grin
