Hi
what's your thoughts on this? I was booking a holiday via a agent over the phone. The advisor took all my details and quoted. I was then going through the payment put my details on and there was an error. I had problems all the way through, theu kept increasing the price the further i got, they were rude and the final straw was the payment not going through i had enough. I checked no money had been taken from my account which they confirmed no so I told them to forget the whole thing and cancel it ive b
had enough. They then said they would ask the provider to cancel it in the morning as they are now closed....will i be liable to pay anything? or as I didn't pay any deposit or the full amount will it just be left as nothing booked.

What's your experiences/thoughts?

Thanks
Laura

I had a similar experience they prove kept increasing as the booking went on eventually I was like no that is it I'm not booking this holiday I do not give permission to charge my card.. they tried everything to get me to book a "better deal" telling me I couldn't cancel the provider won't allow a cancellation it be charged etc etc. So while in the land line I called the bank off my mobile got dh to explain and they cancelled that specific card and sent out a new one they had made an attempt to take a small admin fee but the bank cancelled it. Hope this helps. Was a bit if a pain but it gave me piece of mind
