So why can't I buy a minky anywhere?

TabbyCat44 · 05/02/2019 19:48

ShatnersBassoon · 05/02/2019 19:49

What is a minky?! I really should know if you can buy them in Morrisons and Dunelm, shouldn't I?

TheQueef · 05/02/2019 19:49

AgnesNaismith · 05/02/2019 19:49

That’s what my mum called her dogs winkle.

They’re on amazon and Dunelm.

RunOstrich · 05/02/2019 20:21

Hobbycraft had minky fat quarters in for a while. Not been in a while so not sure if they still would.

Badcat666 · 05/02/2019 20:25

Agnes That's what my mum used to call our dogs lady bits! LOL!

HPLikecraft · 05/02/2019 20:28

HPLikecraft · 05/02/2019 20:30

*minky Blush

Murphypoint · 05/02/2019 20:33

Buy the equivalents. Marks and Spencer or B&M.

They have been in stock on their website but restricted to 3 per order.

Ifangyow · 05/02/2019 20:34

It's a scourer that Hinch idiot uses.

TroysMammy · 05/02/2019 20:37

My BIL had the hysterics and cried tears of laughter when I told my Dsis about minky soak ups. As a result I sometimes buy him a pack on his birthday so I can invoke some mirth from him.

Murphypoint · 05/02/2019 20:44

Why do you call her an idiot?

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 05/02/2019 20:46

no fecking way am I googling minky Grin

RunOstrich · 05/02/2019 22:08

Probably not the hobbycraft thing then... never heard of any other kind of minky - I have been educated this evening!

Redyoyo · 05/02/2019 22:15

I got 2 before xmas, they're not that great to be honest! I bought them from minkys website.

Luaa · 05/02/2019 22:32

I've also only ever heard minky as a type of material, sort of fleecy with raised dots.

If Mrs hinch says you need one, I'm pretty sure I don't.

DontPanic42 · 05/02/2019 22:41

I honestly thought this was going to be a baby name thread! So glad it isn't! Grin

MrsTommyBanks · 05/02/2019 22:48

Apparently Morrisons have them.

Disclaimer: I only know because my neighbour posted on FB how delighted she was at finding them. I didn't know what they were until I saw her post.
