What was the name of that shop?

It's utterly unimportant, but it's been bugging me for a few days now. There used to a shop that would sort of masquerading as quality, cool clothing, but they were permanently 70% off and after a while you would realise that they actually were just cheap and there never wasn't a sale. I think the name might have sounded German/Dutch, but that may not be true. Definitely I think their label was sometimes a plastic red tab thing. Any ideas?

No, not them. More going for a pretend urban vibe.

Hmm, it wasn't Mad House, but it was along those lines. I remember Mark One, but it wasn't them.

Eisenegger?

EnoughSnowAlready · 05/02/2019 19:37

I have no idea what reputation The Officers Club had but their merchandise was always shown as 70% or so, off.

Todaythiscouldbe · 05/02/2019 19:37

Madhouse always had a sale on. I had a friend who worked there and got a staff discount too.

Whywonttheyletmeusemyusername · 05/02/2019 19:37

Eisenegger! It was a horrible grot shop.

Oh Mark One, how I loved you. I lived in your 'slightly posher and sexier than polo shirts' tops that you did in the 90s. My favourite one got ruined by my then boyfriend spunking all over it. Had to pass that off to my Nan as spilt ice cream. Good times.

Dahlietta · 05/02/2019 19:39

It was a horrible grot shop.

Yes, it was Grin

I'd forgotten about Kookai!

OnTheHop · 05/02/2019 19:41

Did it begin with a K or have a K in it? Quite a short name and there was one in Covent Garden market?
