Have had endometriosis for a long time had surgery last year and then the injection to stop my periods and stop it growing back first started on the tablet to see if I agreed with the hormones and then the injection. Issue is I’ve had my second injection and I’m having a constant period first 2 months period was light and constant but since then it’s been constant with clots every day. I’m having to wear thick pads every day some days I’m super heavy where I leak.local gp thinks I need another injection for my body to adjust although I’ve had 2 injections every 3 months and a month of tablets. I can’t deal with the periods my partner and I don’t have sex my main problem with the endometriosis was my period pain and of course having period every day is killer I’m exhausted and the amount of codine I take makes me constipated but they won’t give me anything else and I keep getting migraines. Would you take the injection one last time and see if you adjust or put your foot down I’m seeing a specialist in 3 weeks but if I leave it until then I would have been 4 weeks with out my injection and the last time I was a day out doctor had a massive go at me

I think the time has come to put your foot down. Endo is one of those conditions where you have to be persistent and assertive or risk being fobbed off. Did you see any benefits from the surgery?
