Where is all the Dr Pepper?

Especially the zero version?

I know there was the co2 shortage last year which affected all fizzy drinks but Dr Pepper stocks never really seemed to have recovered.

Empty shelves in Morrisons and Sainsbury's most weeks.

Now Tesco seem to have stocked selling the zero version. No space
/label on the shelf for it anymore and not available online.

Anyone else noticed this?

My sister has it apparently. When I saw her at the weekend her and her DH had just had a huge row because she’d bought about 60 cans of Dr Pepper in their shopping order. She justified it by it being on offer (it was a Tesco order I think) whereas he thought it was a huge waste of money.

meepmoop · 05/02/2019 17:39

In my garage but I get from our local brewey

HowlsMovingBungalow · 05/02/2019 17:40

I noticed that Crabbies ginger beer did a flit for a few months, turned up before xmas - doesn't taste the same, does say gluten free on label now.

Don't drink Dr Pepper OP so can't help. < pointless post - sorry!>

There was tons of it last week in Lidl, it was on offer for American week.

NicoAndTheNiners · 05/02/2019 17:46

I even went to Lidl looking for it yesterday. Full fat stuff available but no zero.

Tesco have cans but no bottles.

I blame brexit.

Hopefully it's burning in hell 😂

CaptainKirksSpookyghost · 05/02/2019 17:49

Like all doctors they are scared of coming over due to Brexit😉

onceandneveragain · 05/02/2019 19:05

asda always has both versions, and is usually the cheapest. you've worried me now I'm going to have to stock up!

Vegisgrowingwell · 05/02/2019 19:10

I was going to say Lidl as it was there last week!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 05/02/2019 19:12

I've got quite a stash in my garage too and I don't share, sorryBlush

OopsUpsideYourBed · 05/02/2019 19:22

I haven't seen any lately, but amaretto with coke tastes just like Dr Pepper.

MaryPoppinsUmberellaHandle · 05/02/2019 19:25

I get ours from Food Warehouse, and there's lots of stock available. And it's only £5.99 for 24 cans.

iloveredwine · 05/02/2019 19:28

asda has the big bottles but no cans as I had to get the bottles

marmitedoughnut · 05/02/2019 19:38

They changed the recipe recently, can't drink it no more as it now tastes rank to me.

Mmmhmmokdear · 05/02/2019 19:39

I've noticed very low stocks in my local Co Op! Maybe it's Brexit!

Choccywoccyhooha · 05/02/2019 19:40

I have allllll of it.

But, in an emergency situation I feel that Pepsi Max Cherry is a good enough alternative.

Funko · 05/02/2019 19:42

Coop! Two two litres bottles for £3!

36degrees · 05/02/2019 19:51

They had it in the post office today but only in 500ml bottles, no cans. I have convinced myself it gets colder in a can so I didn't fancy it. Had a Fanta instead.

NicoAndTheNiners · 05/02/2019 22:08

My local co-op haven't had it for over a year.

Will have to try Asda.

Sadly I don't think I can drink amaretto and coke at work! Grin. Or for breakfast!

Might try the Pepsi max cherry. I'm not keen on cherry coke though.

Nico, if you put almond cake flavouring in Coke it's the next best thing.

Deathraystare · 07/02/2019 15:13

Yes I find it really hard to get the zero one. I did get two for a pound I think but cannot remember what supermarket I got it from. Did NOT see it in Lidl this morning.

slappinthebass · 07/02/2019 15:15

Lidl have got the zero and regular version in packs of 6.

bingoitsadingo · 07/02/2019 15:21

@HowlsMovingBungalow Crabbies has been gluten-free for years

HowlsMovingBungalow · 07/02/2019 15:33

@bingo Ah! I didn't know that.
