4 weeks pregnant and insomnia

Hello
I am 4 weeks pregnant and delighted. I suffer from anxiety and insomnia at occasions but my lifesaver has always known that i can take a zopliclone 7.5mg or half of that. Just knowing i can take it even helps, like a safety net.

I know that it is not recommended in pregnancy but have also heard most experiences saying when people took it even in heavy doses the baby was still very healthy.

I would only ever need one a week as a last resort.

Has anybody any advice or experience of taking this while pregnant. The health of the baby comes first but my mental health would really suffer if i didnt get any sleep also.

Thanks for any response.

Hi, I believe you posted this in the wrong thread since here we post new blog posts we publish.

Nevertheless, maybe fatigue that comes with pregnancy and first trimester helps you sleeping more? If not, I think it is important to follow your doctors orders before taking anything. Hope you find something that works for you.
