I've lost my favourite silver ring, which I (irrationally, but fervently) believed brought me good luck when I wore it. I have no idea where it is, or how to find it.
I last wore it on Friday night when I took DS2 to a party. I wore gloves, but it's not in them. Then I came home, bought wine at the shop, had a couple glasses, went to bed.
This is the second ring I've lost, so I think I'm doing something weird which is losing them. Any ideas? Would a metal detector pick up silver? What's that "lost thing" Saint's poem thing?
