Tell me I'm not the only one who immediately assumes they're either dead or dying or have just been accused of something horrible? There's at least two active threads of this type today and I keep doing a double take when I see them, unreasonably, because when somebody actually has died or whatever, it's usually right there in the thread title.

Anyway, that's got that off my chest and I'm very glad Liam Neeson and Martin Clunes are fit and well, even if LN appears to have let his tongue run away with him.

Sorry! Haha that was me with Martin Clunes

Yeah, I always assume that they’re dead.

Yep - just had the "not Martin Clunes " Shock moment

Trending on Twitter is the same, but with more reason, as you only ever see the name, not why they're trending.

On a forum I used to frequent the etiquette was to post "(not dead)" after the name to stop this happening!
