I had proper flu not last week, week before. Felt awful for days and have been exhausted ever since, but slowly managing to get about my daily stuff.
Tonight my throat feels a little sore, the mouth sores that I had are back, my legs and pelvis are aching and my temp is slightly raised. This is how I felt before it proper attacked last time!
It's coming back isn't it?! Bloody flu! And DH is away tomorrow night 😔

After two weeks this is likely something different unless you have a weakened immune system. See if your doc will give you an antiviral.

💐💐 high dose vit C and plenty of rest/fluids. Avoid the flu jab/tamiflu/recently drugged with flu nasal spray (they shed it for weeks) hope you’re feeling better soon.

Thanks
I just hope I don't give it back to my DS!!

Same thing happened to me op.
I went down with it on NYE and it was bad. Feverish for the best part of a week.
Slowly got on the mend. Children went back to school, every day things got a little bit better and then bang, knocked out with a high fever again.
I think one of my wonderful children brought back a new bug from school. They've not been ill, the lucky gits, but I'm still recovering three weeks on from #2.
I don't think I've ever been so ill.

Thanks for the update. I didn't think it was flu again.

Has it started to improve with treatment?

gnarlington · 06/02/2019 22:53

Yes, very quickly thanks
