Random coincidences

I have had medical issues for years, and have crossed paths with hundreds of support staff (nurses, etc)
I have experienced the good, the bad, all of it.
Without fail, the nicest best all ended up being named Alison.

I know it's just coincidence, but today I met another one, and it really made me start to notice

Do you find yourself spotting coincidences a lot, and how do you stop yourself reading more into it than you should?

By reading too much into it, I mean having expectations of people you've just metConfused

I remember that thread! It was mind boggling, but in a great way.

Ibises to visit a friend on a Sunday in a town 30 miles from mine. DH grew up in the house in front of hers...he visited his parents on a Sunday. We were probably 20 feet from each other and had no idea.

I went out with someone I worked with briefly, many years later he turned up at a different place I was working in. Turned out when I was dating him he was actually flatmates with the boyfriend I had when we met again (I had never gone to his flat back then).

I've been pregnant six times, four DC and two MC. DC1 and DC4 had the same due date, several years apart. DC2 and DC3 also had the same due date (different date to DC1 and DC4), several years apart. Scans were all on the same dates too, the pictures from them are in our family albums and I have to check the year to make sure which DC it is. They have different birthdays as they were early/late/on time but there are exactly two weeks between DC1 and DC4's birthday and exactly two weeks between DC2 and DC3. To add further coincidence, MC1 had the same due date as DC1 and DC4, MC2 had the same due date as DC2 and DC3.
