Tax free childcare

Does anyone know how long it takes for money to travel between the government tax free childcare account and the nursery/childcare provider?

I thought I'd set it up to be paid in plenty of time, but nursery haven't received it yet.

I think the first payment can sometimes cause problems. If it’s the first one try ringing the childcare people and check the codes are all correct.

Thanks. It's not the first one (3rd maybe). And it's definitely left the account.

The payments on my nursery statement are shown and dated within a day or two of them leaving the TFC account.

Not sure, but when I’ve ended up with more money in my tax free account than needed I’ve transferred it back to my current account and it’s taken at least three days to show so may be similar.

For My CM I have to allow upto 5d as that’s how they make the money off the transfer holding it in limbo. I didn’t realise this until she told me. Equally it leaves my employers & takes a few days to hit my account.
