Strange comment on FB marketplace

I am currently trying to sell some maternity stuff on Facebook marketplace, including a pregnancy pillow.
Someone has posted a comment on this listing ‘Next’
What is this about? I placed a generic listing, it’s not overpriced (I compared it to others) and I have included pictures.
Have I done something wrong?
The person seems to be a married woman in her 50s, so not usually someone interested in a pregnancy pillow.
Thoughts?

Probably just a mistake. Don't worry about it!

Mookatron · 04/02/2019 13:32

Sometimes Facebook does automatic text by mistake. 'Next' would usually mean 'next in line' if someone had already commented to say they wanted it. If they haven't, it'll be a mistake.

Maybe she’s posted it by mistake. I’ve accidentally hit a key and spellcheck filled in the blanks. Or she’s commented on it, so she doesn’t lose your post and want to show it to someone.

She probably doesn't realise she's done it, I accidently posted I was 'interested' in a lost puppy. The options come up automatically when you look at a post on marketplace it's actually really annoying.

NotTired · 04/02/2019 13:35

I did this last night. I was on market place on the Facebook app which I never normally use and somehow managed to post this by accident.

PeachMelba78 · 04/02/2019 13:35

Oh ok! I just thought I had done something wrong! I really just want to sell my pregnancy clothes and bits

There are some auto, oneclick options on sales pages - interested / how much etc.

is "next" one of them?

(I also see it on adverts on a job vacancies page, which is even weirder)

Hidingtonothing · 04/02/2019 13:40

I've seen this on selling posts too, no idea what it means though!

Somethingsmellsnice · 04/02/2019 13:48

It is really annoying. If I am scrolling through marketplace on my phone as it is very sensitive sometimes it will put up the options of Next, Interested and the others without me noticing and if I continue to scroll it does select one before continuing.

However in context if someone has already said they want it and someone uses the "next" it means they are wanting to be next in line if that person pulls out.

PeachMelba78 · 04/02/2019 13:52

No one else has commented, that’s partly why I was so confused.
It sounds like a common occurrence, so I will stop wondering about it.

It’s way too easy to accidentally click them

I would take it to mean she wants to be next in line. Except as you say, there's no one else ahead of her!
