I have postgraduate qualifications in information architecture and workflow design. Wanted to teach at university but that won’t happen due to budget cuts and lack of jobs. Jobs outside my specialism regard me as overqualified and lacking commercial experience. I worked as a checkout assistant for five years on min wage until I had DC and had to SAH, but that isn’t a long term career that’s worth returning to.
What sort of jobs could I look for that would have prospects and decent pay? And which aren’t only available in London?
