Im wanting to buy a sports bottle for DS for martial arts class he does. He's taking a small water bottle at the mo.

This one has cropped up but I havent a clue what size this is

2.2l = just under 4 pints (3.871 to be exact)

As for size, a normal size bottle of coke or lemonade is 2 litres - though this looks as if it’s a bit shorter and wider than that.

Its HUGE!
I'd suggest about 750ml, unless he really does drink like a fish during his class. I'd be sick exercising with that much liquid sloshing about in my stomach!

2l will be 2kg to carry when filled!

Unless it's stupidly hot, my 2x 300ml bottles are plenty for me for 2hr+ runs when HM training. Being well hydrated before doing sport is more important than showing off with a giant, day's worth of water in one bottle.

750ml Camelbak bottles are great. Easy to sip from with very low risk of spillage.
