Going for a night in Manchester with best friend in about a month and have no idea where we could eat! Don't really fancy McDonald's Grin We'll be getting the train to Manchester so somewhere within 20 minutes of the station ideally Smile

Any insight appreciated!

Apparently they have a Dishoom now. That would be my first choice.

Bundobust, Indian Street Food. Each dish is about £4-6 and 2 or 3 will be enough for most people or they do a combo deal of 5 dishes for 2 people for £25

Great craft beer too.

I just came on to recommend Bundobust!

Ply is also good for pizza and you're in the Northern Quarter so near good bars too.

Both are near Piccadilly Station. If you're coming into Victoria, I'd head to the Corn Exchange. Lots of options including Pho, Cosy Club, Wahaca etc.

If it's Oxford Road, try Refuge, if it's not out of budget.

1761 is very lovely food, great price and good atmosphere. There menu is all home cooked food and the pies are divine as they are proper pies (nit a casserole with a pastry lid) google 1761 Manchester and it’s jyst a 2 minute walk from St. Peter’s team stop or Albert square

I'm a big fan of Try Thai.

I like The Corn Exchange there are dishes from round the world.
If you fancy a stop off for a cuppa can thoroughly recommend catcafe.co.uk/
