I’m tempted but wonder if I’ll regret it. I probably wouldn’t but still. I can be quite stubborn.

Basically I’m paid to do something piss easy. Not mega bucks but great for the time and effort it takes me (ie none!). However, I don’t like the attitude of the person I’m doing it for.

Ultimately I shouldn’t care. But I do for some reason and if I said no they would have to do it themselves which they’d hate.

So I could say no but it would be turning down money for no reason just to see them do it themselves. That’s mad isn’t it?! Grin

Have done a few times but each time it was worth it

Take the money and run!

I do. All the time! I drive myself mad with it.

FlagFish · 03/02/2019 21:58

Wouldn’t they just pay someone else to do it?

I hate the way my dh does certain chores. It’s not so much ‘he’s not up to my standard’ but he does them in an inefficient way, that makes more work and misses opportunities.

I often push him out of the way and do it myself, knowing full well it puts more of the burden on me and gives him fodder for his ‘what’s the point of trying housework if you only tell me I’m wrong’ whinging.

Also it’s bad role-modelling for our dd. Wish I could stop!

Weirdly I don’t think they would ask anyone else to do it.
