So tough instead of tough-tips and surname? Booked a flight with Ryan air n forgot to put my full name as I only ever use first half. Will this be an issue?

Domestic or international?
It depends what ID you require and if it matches

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 20:21

Domestic from England to Spain

What does your passport/ID say? They have to match.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 03/02/2019 20:23

England to Spain is international.
I wrongly assumed it was your blended surname that was incomplete but I now think that you've booked as Anna rather than Anna-Maria

limerancevictim · 03/02/2019 20:23

I think you’ll have issues because they don’t match. And it’s not a domestic flight.. it’s an international one so they have to match.

BruceAndNosh · 03/02/2019 20:24

Best to get it changed.
Good luck doing that with Ryanair

Crockof · 03/02/2019 20:31

I've not had a problem, booking as tough rather than tough-tips however have been told more than once that they could turn me away if they wished

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 20:33

Fs gonna cost me to change it but it'll have to be done my anxiety won't cope without

wowfudge · 03/02/2019 20:33

It's part of your first name that's missing, rather than a middle name? I'd say that could be an issue.

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 20:37

Yeah. It never gets used but is sadly printed on my passport. That'll teach me for getting to excited about booking a holiday

So, like, you're Ann-Marie Smith in your passport but Ann Smith on your ticket?

I can't help, by the way, I'm just nosey!

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 20:43

Haha yeah so I've booked Ann Smith yet my passport says Ann-Marie Smith. In my over excited haste I've bloody booked on as Ann Smith.

Maybe try ringing the airline and see if they'll swap it? Hope you get it sorted!

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 20:52

I will do

We did something equally as daft before with ryanair too, they changed it free of charge.

Toughtips · 03/02/2019 21:27

I've booked through on the beach so I've messaged to see what I need to do
