So my name is hyphenated tough-tips can I fly with ticket tough and surname or do I need tough-tips? Gone and bloody booked without hyphen

Ticket must match passport exactly or there's a significant chance you'll be refused boarding.

You will probably have to pay to get the tickets changed, especially if they're with a "budget" airline.

I agree, if it doesn't match exactly you risk no being allowed to board. Get it changed now (if you can)

Trouble is it’s one of those things where you’ll get plenty of people tell you they’ve flown fine, and probably you’d have a good chance of being fine, but they can refuse you and it’s probably not worth the risk, frustrating though it is.

I wouldn't worry too much OP, the hyphen isn't actually that important - From an immigration point of view they'd likely not even notice - not all airlines even transmit they hyphen on tickets.

Yeah I've bit the bullet and took the hit. Only booked an hour ago
