Changing Light Fittings

We need approx 10 light fittings changed in our house. We are swapping them from basic light bulb and shade style fittings to semi-flush/flush mix of chrome/glass etc.

Do we have to get a qualified electrician to do this? Would house insurance be invalidated if something went wrong etc.?

Been quoted £30 to £45 to fit each light and in an ideal world that is money we would like to save.

I do them myself.

Done themalm ourselves in last house and this one. It’s fiddly but not impossible. YouTube has videos.

It isn't so much if we can do them ourselves (technically we reckon we can). More legalities and house insurance.
