Recommend me a daily spf lotion

I’ve been getting used to using moisturiser on a daily basis after finsing one that suited me (I find most are too thick or greasy, have been using ReGen). Want to add some spf, or switch to a similarly light cream that contains it, before extended periods of sun return. Sun lotion an option, but so far I’ve been finding them a bit greasy (and the alcohol ones make my skin peel).

Needs to be cheap, though, as I’m currently unemployed and running out of savings!

Any advice?

There's a Simple one with spf 30 that I like, I have the same issue with thick creams and find it ok! Good value too, in relative terms, and also currently on 3 for 2 at Boots!!

I really rate the one from Aldi, Usually around £3ish I think SPF 30. Sinks in well under make up and isn't greasy. The only think is sometimes they don't seem to stock it all year round, but I think it depends on the individual store.

I don’t have an Aldi near me Dorothy, but I’ll take a look next time I pass one!

Thanks FunnyName, I’ve just found a bottle in Wilko (£3.50 - think this is still cheaper than Boots?!). It’s spf 15 but that should be fine, I’ll give it a try!

Still open to suggestions! Smile

Nivea sun anti age Q10. Family for everyday, more like a normal moisturiser. My go to when we have sun!

An expert has recently advised me start using the La Roche Posay one but I haven't as yet

The Body Shop do Skin Defence factor 50 which is really light. There's always a code knocking about to make it a bit cheaper too.

I've used oil of olay for donkeys years. It has spf15 and is really light. Last bottle was about £3.50 in Wilkinsons.

Moisturisers with SPF won’t give you as good coverage.

I use either this biore one (it does have alcohol in it but doesn’t dry me out) www.amazon.co.uk/Biore-Aqua-Watery-Essence-SPF50/dp/B01MTDFFQ5?tag=mumsnetforum-21

Or the La Roche Possay anti shine one.

I use Superdrug one. I'm really pleased with it (cruelty-free). I think it's spf. Inexpensive too.

Should say spf 15
