M&S Premium Club - a good deal or not?

Was asked if I'd like to join the M&S Premium Club in a store yesterday.

Members get discounts, hot drink vouchers, and triple points but...you pay £10/month for the privilege.

Unless you drink a lot of coffee in M&S cafe this doesn't sound like a great deal.

Anyone a member, is the discount/treats etc worth £120/year?

Thanks for posting - this has saved me the bother of reading the invitation bumph sent by M&S - which I’d put to one side. I’d only glanced at it quickly, and had seen no mention of cost, so was intending to plough through it later.

Still havent worked out how the sparks points work! I'd give pre-paid coffee a swerve!

time sometimes my sparks offers are useful but normally they're totally worthless, I don't know why I bother. At the moment I only have 2, neither are things I would usually buy, and 20% off isn't going to suddenly change my spending habits.

I was a bit cheesed off with their 'how much are my points worth' table.

One column refers to monthly spend in m&S and the next column is annual reward vouchers. So at first glance 'as premium club member spend £50 get £18 in vouchers', but actually it's £600 you need to spend to get £18 in reward vouchers. Bit sneaky. Disappointing!

So if I don't like the coffee I need to spend about £4k per annum to recoup my £10/month?

Pay £10/month to get 3% discount?

Hmm
