Will my house fall down?

I was dusting my shelves and when I moved a wooden picture frame I saw small piles is dust. On closer inspection of the frame I found small holes in it.
Could this be some sort of creature and could it cause further damage?
Love the frame but should I chuck it?
Should I take it back to the shop and tell them?

Woodworm. Get it out of your house pronto.

Woodworm put it in the cold and inspect your floors for damage

Wood worm. I had the same in a picture frame a friend bought. It was from John Lewis and they offered to send someone out to check the home. We accepted as it had been stood on a (not cheap) wooden cabinet in a big wood floored room. He couldn't find any spread, luckily.

I’ve put it in the garden.
Freeze them to death.
I bought it from tk max.
Got about 15, all Indian wood, some are on walls so won’t notice the piles of dust.
I’ve got no receipt but will take it back so they know.

You could treat the wood so that they dont come back.

Rentokill. You can buy it in b&Q. If it's spread you'll have to get a pest person in.
